About Thanos

Played by Josh Brolin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos is a powerful warlord that believes that overpopulation is a massive threat to the universe. With this belief, he sets out to wipe out half of all lifeforms at every level. To achieve this mass genocide, he embarks on a journey of attaining the infinity stones as the combined powers will allow him to carry out his plan. Thanos forms alliances with Loki and Ronan the Accuser whilst battling powerful resistance, mainly the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. In his quest for genocide, Thanos and his Black Order take over many planets and slaughter thousands. Even his daughter is sacrificed along the way.
